VINTAGE Porcelain Hand Painted Asian Egg and Hand Painted Stand.
“Condition consistent with age and display use.”
Resting on its stand, the piece is 4" High and about 2.5" Wide.
Unmarked suggesting the piece is older and before the country of origin must be stamped.
My Internet research is incomplete but this may help.
"In 1914, the law was revised and the phrase "Made in..." was required. This is NOT a reliable indicator of age, however. There are numerous recent items that say only a country name without "made in..." Don't rely on that rule in dating items."
The piece came to us from an auction lot involving many items from Thailand, so maybe...?  Looks like an old unmarked Satsuma.
